Please briefly describe the project and how the funds will be used:

We are offering an affordable 3-week summer camp designed to support families with accessible childcare during the summer months.
Our program focuses on creating an engaging, interactive experience for children through themed activities and hands-on learning.
Last year, our camp expenses were just over $9,000, and we expect similar costs this year. $5,000 in confirmed expenses, though costs will likely rise as planning continues. This leaves a funding gap, and support from this grant would help us provide a high-quality, accessible camp experience.

How many people will benefit from the project directly and indirectly within the geographic area covered by the CFOA:

Approximately 70-100 children will directly benefit from the 3-week summer camp. Indirectly, 100-200 family members will benefit through access to affordable childcare, reduced financial strain, and increased opportunities for their children to engage in safe, enriching, and active summer experiences.

Volunteers will support the camp by assisting with the supervision of children and helping with daily operations. This includes setting up activities, preparing spaces, and handling cleanup. Their involvement helps ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for all participants while reducing overall program costs.

How will success be evaluated?

Success will be evaluated based on participation numbers, overall camper experience, and feedback from both campers and volunteers. We will also assess how effectively the funding helped bridge the financial gap, allowing us to deliver a high-quality, accessible camp without placing additional burden on families.
